BioI don't have too much to say here. I'm a Canadian chick who loves comic books and writing. I do a little bit of fanart too when I've got the spare time. I love tattoos and piercings, 80's punk and metal, electronica, techno, and a little wee bit of industrial music. I'm also a bit of a reptile hobbyist; I love snakes, frogs, and lizards of all sorts and I own a bunch. I'm an old school New Mutants, X-Force, and Gen X junkie, and yes they are my favourite books. No, I'm not a Liefeld fan. Yes, the art sucks. No, I'm not a Loeb fan either. But? I love all of those characters no matter how much mud they've been dragged through and I'm not at all ashamed to admit it. *Shameless fangirl of Marvel's most misused generation*. Nearly all of my fandom stuff on this journal focuses on these characters, so if that's what you're looking for, right on. Leave me a comment or drop me a note! I'm pretty friendly for the most part and I like chatting with people that have similar interests.
I'm not active in these fandoms, but I am also very interested in: Torchwood, Doctor Who, The Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Heroes (when it's not failing at life), Supernatural, House, Third Watch, the Breakfast Club, Queer as Folk (US), Fight Club, the Outsiders, The Authority, L&O: SVU, and I've recently gotten into NCIS. I'm also a huge nerd and I love the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Go me. \o/
I've gone to school for Emergency Services (Firefighting and Paramedics) and I'm currently working for a catering company. It's the shits, and I often like to rant about it. I also love playing music (guitar and bass mostly) and reading true crime. Other than that...I'm pretty boring. XD So, yeah. I guess that's me in a nutshell.
